50501 Volusia to Host June 13–14 Demonstrations as Part of National No Kings Protest Defending Democracy
Deltona, FL — June 2, 2025 — 50501 Volusia, a grassroots movement committed to defending constitutional democracy and resisting authoritarianism, proudly announces its local participation in the nationwide No Kings protests taking place June 13–14, 2025. These coordinated demonstrations—organized by the No Kings coalition—aim to reject executive overreach and affirm that in the United States, there are no kings—only the people.

These events are part of the broader 50501 initiative—50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement—launched earlier this year to rally citizens nationwide against the erosion of democratic norms. Previous protests under this banner have drawn thousands of peaceful demonstrators across the country, uniting communities in defense of constitutional values.
“At 50501 Volusia, we believe real patriotism means standing up when democracy is threatened,” said a group spokesperson. “The No Kings protest is about reminding our leaders—and ourselves—that power belongs to the people.”
